Two-time Premier League winner to join Houllier's evolution

Aston Villa have confirmed that former Arsenal star Robert Pires will be
joining the club later this week.
Aston Villa 證實，前 Arsenal 球星 Robert Pires 將於本週加入該球會。

Manager Gerard Houllier has been in talks with his fellow Frenchman and the
deal is expected to be completed before Sunday's trip to Blackburn, which can
be seen live on Sky Sports HD1/1.
主教練 Gerard Houllier 已和法國人多次會晤，預計在周日對上 Blackburn 之前完成
合同，並在 Sky Sports HD1/1 頻道現場轉播。

Pires is a free agent and has been training with Arsene Wenger's Arsenal
after being released by Villarreal in the summer.
Pires 為自由球員，自夏季從 Villarreal 結束合同後，在 教授 的 Arsenal 球隊進行

The 37-year-old won two Premier League titles, three FA Cups and the 2002
Footballer of the Year prize during his six-year stay with the Gunners.

And so Villa assistant boss Gary McAllister is looking forward to adding that
calibre to a young squad, as he told his club's official website: "Robert has
been training at Arsenal.
